European art. 20th century artistic avant-gardes and influences on Latin America

Ground floor. Halls 2, 3 y 4

The European art exhibition of the Ralli Collection offers a journey through the avant-garde artistic movements and styles of the 1920s, such as Futurism, metaphysical painting, Surrealism, abstract art and Cubism. Alongside this sample of European art, works from Latin American artists are displayed. In their work we can see the assimilation of Europeanising languages and their mutual influences.

Artworks by artists like Giorgio de Chirico, Joan Miró, Henry Moore, Sonia Delaunay and George Braque are exhibited alongside sculptures by Salvador Dalí and Eduardo Soriano.
